What Customers Say About The Adventures of Johnny Bunko: The Last Career Guide You'll Ever Need:

I'd like to read this just to see what tidbits the author has - I may have to buy one for myself. The reviews I read on this book and author were promising and the price was just right for a just out of college student's budget. I bought this book for my 19 year old cousin who doesn't know what to do for his life. I figured this would at least give him a little direction in a form he can appreciate - I like manga as well (being in the younger generation and all).

It reminds you in a fun way what is really important and how we can sharpen our skills and focus in what we do. I gifted this book to several of my friends with teenage kids but it's also a great read for any age and anyone despite where they are in their careers. Buy it, read it, and pass it on. I wanted to buy this for my nephew in college who doesn't know what he wants to do but I figured I better buy a copy for myself first--glad I did. I read it and loved it and so did my nephew.

who don't like to read) it will be a good start for them.2. Its easy and nice to read, specially for people like me (i.e. This book is recommended for students who are planning to select their work carrer and who hate their work and feedup of their current job and want to know what to do.Highly recommended even for pleasure/fun reading. I Liked this book for many reasons. Mainly;1.

The comic book style presentation makes it an especially fun read. I loved this book, and my teenaged son loved it, as well. Excellent work -- highlighting important questions to ask yourself when choosing a career, or to ask at any career stage to know whether you're on track to achieve your goals.

HOWEVER, it falls far short of being "The last career guide you'll ever need". All in all, this is probably worthwhile.

But don't expect to read this and have all your career problems melt away - there is a LOT that needs to be covered that isn't touched on here. Calibrate your expections appropriately, and you won't be disappointed.

Being quite the fan of Daniel Pink, I was excited to see that a new work of his had appeared. Perhaps that would be more difficult to communicate in a short manga work.

The book is a quick and easy read, the illustrations are fun, and it definitely contains a number of important career gems.

The book explores *what* to do, but says nothing about *how* to do it, which is just as important.
